Reflective Essay.

The ability of culture to cater and cultivate new dimensions of identity building remains to be the key indicators that pave the rise of civilizations. It showcases the necessary ability to exert influence and superiority among its corresponding contemporaries. These in turn becomes not only a symbol for power but creates a lasting contribution that transcends over time. By carefully understanding these realities, one can then decipher not only the relevance of the values and involvement in history but also determine its value and permanence.

Analyzing the relevant trends that have been present in history, I can imagine that there has been constant effort among powerful leaders and civilizations to leave behind its legacy something that can transcend over time and demonstrate their capacity and power. It is through such that the development of art can be seen. Different examples can be seen as manifests for such and all of these resemble not only the value of cultures and traditions but also the realization of finding the means to justify such greatness.

Seeing this, I do believe that the King of Namar chose to symbolize his cultures pride and influence through the palette is a good symbolism towards the capacity to illustrate their significance during their time. What better way to exhibit such dominance and the principles the society adheres than by visual art. Each painting not only shows the uniqueness and ability of the artist. It also shows the willingness to portray the life and actions of the people. Such then becomes a vital tool in fostering dimensions of transcendence.

At the same time, I also realized that these paintings reflect on the pathways towards development and growth. Each illustration I believe contribute towards something brilliant and exuberant that needs to be made. It is through such ability that King Namar was able to record all these events and gave us nowadays a better picture of how life was during their period.

With the case of the ancient cave paintings in France, I also believe that the artwork also represent power and unity of the inhabitants. With the limited capacity for people during that time, I do believe that engaging into such intricate drawings illustrate the move towards finding a formal way to communicate. It is through this that they have interacted with their counterparts and to us as well. Despite the idea that they had never intended to do such, their contributions become significant in helping me realize that there is unity in their work.

It is through such ideas that I believe that the cave paintings in France indeed symbolize power and unity. Even if the people during that time were relatively small in number, it is their apparent capacity to create one form of communal practice (through paintings) becomes a necessary component to extend their power and influence as time passed.

Lastly, I also believe that the Stonehenge is also a source of unifying culture and power because of the same abilities prescribed with the two examples. In here, I see that the collaborative effort by different individuals and groups to create such magnificent monument clearly illustrate a shared idea and beliefs. Seeing this, it becomes a shared symbol that commemorates the essence of unification not only of interests but also of principles. Such outcome then resulted to redefining its power and value.

In the end, the course has been effective in portraying on my part the significance of culture through time. It does not mainly represent the important contributions that each one provided. Rather, it is the one theme to expand and illustrate something that can foster their sense of identity and value. Seeing this, I will argue that these elements and contributions remain to be an essential symbolism used by man to justify their existence and worth during a particular time. By partaking into such conditioning, the true nature of culture becomes apparent and showcases a unifying force that becomes an essential representation of power.
